GUWAHATI, Sept 20 - The State government has prohibited storage, distribution and sale of masur dal, manufactured and packed by RS Triveni Foods Pvt Ltd, Delhi, for a period of six months with immediate effect, said an official press release.
The State government�s food analyst found the masur dal samples coated with an oily substance, which is declared unsafe as per the Food Safety & Standards Act, 2006.
