6-day training for entrepreneurs ends

GUWAHATI, Oct 19 - A six-day general entrepreneurs development programme conducted by AGVB-RSETI, Kamrup (Metro) concluded here on Saturday.

Twenty five individuals from various areas of the district attended the programme that was inaugurated by Jyanjyoti Sarma, Senior Manager, Assam Gramin Vikash Bank, Guwahati branch.

The valedictory programme of the training was attended by Naresh Ch Roy, Senior Manager, Assam Gramin Vikash Bank, Fancy Bazar branch and Mahesh Baruah, Senior Manager, Chandmari branch along with other dignitaries to boost the morale of the trainees.

Speaking on the occasion, Roy threw light on the technique of the trade for the benefit of the trainees and advised them to maintain good relations with their bankers for future development. On the other hand, Baruah congratulated the trainees and highlighted the MUDRA Yojana launched by the Government of India recently.

DC Nath, Director of the Institute, said that all the eligible trainees of this batch will be covered under MUDRA Scheme with loans from the Assam Gramin Vikash Bank.
