ITANAGAR, Dec 4 - Altogether, six candidates have filed their nominations for the Arunachal Pradesh Assembly bye-elections, scheduled on December 21 next. They included two for Pakke-Kessang and four for the Likabali seat.
While ruling BJP�s Biyuram Wahge had filed his papers for Pakke-Kessang Assembly seat on Friday, his would-be rival, former Deputy Chief Minister Kameng Dolo of Congress filed his nominations on Monday.
Four candidates, including BJP�s Kardo Nyicyor, Congress�s Modam Dini, People�s Party of Arunachal (PPA)�s Gumke Riba and Independent candidate Sengo Taipodia also filed their papers on Monday, which was the last date of filing nominations, according to State�s Joint Chief Electoral Officer DJ Bhattacharjee.
Scrutiny of nominations will be taken up tomorrow while December 7 will be the last date for withdrawal of candidature, Bhattachrjee informed.
