IMPHAL, Nov 12 - Manipur has reported five more deaths due to COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, official sources said here today. The cumulative number of virus deaths in the State has now touched 207.
In the last 24 hours, four males and a female expired at the RIMS, Raj Medicity and Shija Hospital respectively, stated an official release.
Meanwhile, in the past 24 hours, 228 civilians and 26 Central Armed Police Forces personnel were confirmed positive at 26 testing facilities in the State.
On the other hand, a total of 191 persons have been freshly discharged from 13 COVID care facilities, the release added.
The cumulative number of positive cases is 21,211, while the numbers of active and recovered cases are 3,115 and 17,889 respectively. The recovery rate in Manipur is 84.33 per cent.
