GUWAHATI, March 14 � As part of its intensified crackdown on burglars, five more persons were arrested by Guwahati Central Zone Police under the Paltan Bazar Police Station for their alleged involvement in a string of theft cases here.
The arrested have been identified as Vishal Pradhan (23), Md Sahidul Ali (22), Bimal Nath (25), Md Mubarak Ali (25) and Md Khusibuddin Ahmed (22). The accused have been booked under Sec 461 and 380 of the IPC, stated DCP (Central Zone) Amitava Sinha.
