GUWAHATI, Aug 30 � 4th Assam Police Battalion entered the last-four stage of the North East Football Championship organised by Brihattar Beltola Krira Unnayan Samittee in memory of Joyram Medhi and Dhiren Boro.
In the first quarterfinal of the meet, played at the Sarusajai Sports Complex here today, the cops defeated Tangla Football Club by a clear margin of 2-0 goals. Both the goals were scored by Bitul Bora in the 34th and 45th minutes respectively.
