AGARTALA, Aug 23 � Four NSCN (IM) insurgents were arrested with huge money at Kachucherra tri-junction under in Dhalai district, police said here today.
The insurgents were identified as Johny Ntuma (25) of Sanjigram under Jeluke police station, Nokdong Lam (27) of Nokyong under Mon police station, Kiven Dominic (26) of Lall under Mogat police station (Manipur) and Monom Koinac (30) of Hongpui under Tizit police station.
Acting on a tip-off, SDPO (Ambassa) Mayajoy Rupini detained four persons while they were traveling in a car (TR-03-0502) on Wednesday. Police recovered Rs 2.40 lakh and 500 taka of Bangladesh currency and four mobile phone handsets from their possession.
