kokrajhar, Nov 16 � In a devastating fire that broke out at Fakiragram market under Fakiragram PS in Kokrajhar district in the wee hours today, four members of a family were burnt alive and eight shops gutted.
According to sources the fire that resulted from a short-circuit in a tea stall, soon spread across the market. Eight shops were turned to ashes. Two LPG cylinders also exploded and claimed the lives of four members of a family while they were sleeping.
The dead have been identified as Putul Mahato (35), her two daughters Nisha and Neha and her son Mousam.
