4 Kids From NE To Get Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar

This year four children from the Northeast will be awarded the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar 2021. Arshiya Das from Tripura, Vanish Keisham from Manipur, Ayush Ranjan from Sikkim and Tanuj Samaddar from Assam will be conferred with the award during the 72nd Republic Day celebrations.

10-year-old Arshiya Das from Tripura is the first and the only girl Chess Player from North East India. She has won Gold in International as well as National Chess Championships with her exceptional skills. She has made the state of Tripura proud as she is all set to receive the award this year.

Vanish Keisham, aged 15, from Imphal West of Manipur has showcased her magnificent talent in the field of Art & Culture. She has won many international, national, and state-level competitions.

Ayush Ranjan, aged 15, is the one and only child from Sikkim to receive the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar this year. With his brilliant innovation like DigiSmart Bin, Garbage Billing Platform, and Auto LPG Refilling ― he is rightly called the 'Serial Innovator from Sikkim'.

Assam's 16-year-old Tanuj Samaddar will also receive this year's Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar under the Art and Culture category. A total of 32 applicants from across the country were selected for the award.
