4 held on extortion charges in Dhola

TINSUKIA, May 11 - Dhola police apprehended four youths � Bhaskar Moran (27), Durgeswer Hazarika (33), Raman Borpatragohain (24) and Ajoy Moran (27) � in the wee hours today on charges of extorting money in the name of United Liberation Front of Asom (Independent). One pistol and live ammunition were seized from them.

Police said the youths were terrorising a big area demanding money from several persons, especially the small traders. A case of extortion was registered earlier and in a joint operation of army and police the four youths were apprehended.
