3 students make a mark in Pathsala

PATACHARKUCHI, May 15 - It was a festive mood in the entire Bajali area throughout the day as three of its meritorious students excelled in the HSLC exam.

The jubilant students took out processions in the entire Pathsala township by bursting crackers and playing drums.

Hirak Jyoti Choudhury secured the 9th position from Pathsala Sikshapith Adarsha Vidyalaya, Uddipta Kalita bagged the 10th position from Pathsala Jatiya Vidyalaya and Phalguni Sarma bagged the fifth position from St John�s Higher Secondary School, Barama.

Hirak, the son of Nilamani Choudhury and Anita Choudhury of Pathsala, will now pursue HS in the Science stream.

Speaking to ANN service, HSLC 10th rank holder Uddipta Kalita said that he always focussed on basics for which this result has been possible. He will now pursue HS course in Bajali College.

On the other hand, Phalguni Sarma, daughter of Harekrishna Sarma and Mamani Bhattacharya of Pathsala, wants to become a doctor to serve the society. According to Phalguni, doctor is a noble profession through which she can serve poorest of the poor.
