JORABAT, May 4 - Jorabat Police have picked up three persons � Lalit Das, Boga Das and Ranjit Gogoi � in connection with the suspected murder of an unidentified man whose body was recovered at 13th Mile Tamulikuchi under Jorabat Police Outpost on Monday.
Lalit Das is reported to have told the police that he only started fighting with the person who had come to commit a theft in his house, but who subsequently escaped unhurt.
Police sources said that investigation is going on and the truth would be revealed soon. The police informed that the three suspects were produced before the court, and they were remanded to two days� police custody.
