3 BSF men injured in Manipur blast

IMPHAL, Feb 8 � At least three Border Security Force (BSF) personnel including a Sub-Inspector were injured in a bomb explosion at Napetpalli under Lamlai Police Station here at around 6.45 am today.

The blast occurred when BSF personnel were on a foot patrol at Napetpalli area, about 14 km from Imphal, reports said. The injured personnel � SI Joy Bhagawan Singh, constables Gorela and Suman Ghosh have been rushed to the Regional Institute of Medical Sciences hospital here for treatment, a press release said.

The condition of constable Gorela is said to be serious. Meanwhile, a combined team of State police, Assam Rifles and BSF have conducted a massive manhunt in and around Napetpalli area and picked up seven persons from a nearby oil pump for questioning, reports said.
