GUWAHATI, Dec 2 - Three books penned by Safiur Rahman Saikia, a former chief engineer, PHED, Assam, were released at a function held at the Guwahati Press Club here today.
Bhramanar Ananda (Arunoday Prakashan), was released by former bureaucrat Dr Rohini Kumar Barua, Desh Kaal Manuh (Rekha Prakashan), was released by Amar Asom editor Prasanta Rajguru, while Sufi Kabi and Sufi Kabita (Aank-Baank), was released by noted poet Anisus Zaman.
The function was presided over by noted writer and former Deputy Commissioner Tabiul Hussain. Writer, singer and physician Dr Anjanjyoti Choudhury was present at the function as the distinguished guest, said a press release.
