AIZAWL, Nov 21 � Officers of the Special Narcotic Cell of Mizoram Police have seized 66 grams of heroin from Chanmari West locality here, sources said.
Cell officials said a resident of Aizawl was arrested yesterday in this connection.
The seized contraband was to be sold at around Rs 3 lakh in the local market, they said.
In another seizure, State Excise and Narcotic department�s anti-narcotic squad seized 14 grams of heroin from the same Chanmari West locality on Wednesday night and arrested two persons.
The arrested persons were booked under sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985. � PTI
