GUWAHATI, March 30 � The group A matches of the 2nd Division National Football League will kick start here tomorrow.
Three matches are scheduled for the opening day which will be played at the Nehru Stadium and SAI ground.
At Nehru Stadium, Langsing Sports Club will lock horns with United Sikkim at 8 am while North Imphal Sports Association is scheduled to take on Golden Threads at SAI ground at 3 pm.
Southern Samity is the other team in this group from which top two teams will qualify for the main round.
However, organisers Assam Football Association will conduct the opening ceremony of the championship at 2 pm before the Simla Youngs and Gauhati Town Club match at Nehru Stadium. AFA will also felicitate the State U-13 team football team which emerged champions in the recently concluded National U-13 Football Festival.
