TVS Motors has launched the updated Apache RR 310 motorcycle at Rs.2.27 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). The 2019 Apache RR 310 features a race-tuned slipper clutch and a new �Phantom Black� colour scheme as its main highlights at just Rs.3,000 more than the outgoing 2018 model.
As mentioned above, the major update seen on the new Apache RR 310 is the introduction of the slipper clutch as a segment standard feature. The race-tuned slipper clutch provides rapid gear shifting and also maintains vehicle stability at high speed during downshifts, thus enhancing the riding experience. The bike with a new Phantom Black colour scheme appears to have a different finish with a unique red and white stripe.
Mechanically, the 2019 TVS Apache RR 310 features the same 312.2cc single-cylinder engine of the current model that delivers a power of 34bhp at 9700rpm and 27.3Nm of peak torque at 7700rpm. The engine comes paired with a 6-speed Manual gearbox. The engine top speed is 160kmph and the claimed ARAI mileage is around 31kmpl.
Apache RR 310, the flagship motorcycle of TVS Motors gets its first update now since its launch on December 2017. It takes on the likes of Bajaj Dominar 400, KTM RC 390, Duke 390 and Duke 250 bike models.
