2 more positive cases in Mizoram

AIZAWL, July 14 - Mizoram has reported two more COVID-19 cases during the last 24 hours, taking the State�s tally to 233. According to an official source, the two fresh cases are a 12-year-old, who had recently returned from Chandigarh, and a 29-year-old Assam Rifles man at the Zokhawsanga headquarters, who had returned from Maharashtra.

�They are asymptomatic and under institutional quarantine,� the source said. They are among the 256 samples tested at the Zoram Medical College laboratory.

Meanwhile, all 31 samples tested at the TrueNat laboratory of the Lunglei district civil hospital on Monday came out negative. On the other hand, eight patients were today discharged from the COVID Health Centre in Siaha district. The district has now six active cases.
