IMPHAL, April 22 � Two persons were injured in a bomb blast near the gate of Manipur University, Canchipur here today. The bomb, planted by unidentified persons, exploded at around 4.30 pm. The injured persons have been admitted to RIMS Hospital for treatment. According to eye-witnesses, the blast took place when the victims noticed a polythene bag inside a drum lying near a culvert and threw it away on suspicion.
