GUWAHATI, Oct 13 - The Jalukbari police today arrested two persons � Krishna Tanti and Ajoy Krishna Gowala � accused in the murder of one Biki Sutradhar, an autorickshaw driver of Loco Colony, Pandu, on October 3 last. They were arrested from Orang with the help of Udalguri police.
The main accused, Samaro Munda, is still absconding, but a search operation is going on to nab him, police said.
The incident came to light when the body of the 32-year-old was found lying on the roadside at Pandu by locals on the morning of October 4. There were several injury marks on the victim�s head and face, police said, adding it appeared that he was clobbered with a bamboo stick.
