GUWAHATI, Nov 10 - Two suspected human traffickers were apprehended from the Inter State Bus Terminus here on Monday when they were trying to move out of the State along with two women and their children.
Police said that Ajay Saha and Raju Das were trying to traffic the women and their children to Siliguri when they were intercepted.
Both the suspects and the victims hail from Agartala, the police added.
�We have cross-checked with our counterparts in Agartala and they have confirmed that the women, along with their children, had been reported missing for the last three days,� the police said.
A team of Agartala Police is reaching Guwahati to take custody of both the accused and the victims.
