GUWAHATI, Dec 18 - Police today arrested one Bijoy Choudhury and his mother, Bidyabati Choudhury of Panikhaiti, in connection with the murder of Poonam Dutta Choudhury.
Poonam was allegedly beaten to death by Choudhury after she gave birth to a stillborn baby, the deceased�s family members said.
In another incident, the body of one Lakhinder Thakur of Bihar was found near a meat shop at Birubari.
