TEZPUR, Aug 30 - Two workers of the Gammon India Ltd. engaged in the construction works of the�second bridge over the river Brahmaputra in Koliabhomura here were drowned on Wednesday while they were busy in their work.
According to official sources, the two workers�were working at pillar number 5 when accidentally an iron rode broke down resulting in the falling of the duo. The two workers have been identified as Bijoy Rabha and Ajay Munda.
Although both of them were rescued, Bijoy Rabha, a resident of Goalpara died on way to hospital while Ajay Munda was admitted at Kanaklata Civil Hospital here in a critical condition.
