GUWAHATI, Dec 27 - The All Assam Students� Union (AASU) today paid tribute to Pratima Baruah Pandey on the occasion of her 17th death anniversary.
However, in view of the prevailing situation in the State, this year�s Pratima Baruah Pandey Award was not given, said AASU president Dipanka
Kumar Nath.
Meanwhile, AASU leaders and people from different walks of life placed flowers and wreaths at the bust of the legendary Goalporiya Lokageet exponent and Padma Shree recipient at Chandmari here as a mark of respect to her.
