GUWAHATI, Oct 24 - The 15th International Leo Expo organised by Leo Advertising will get under way at the Maniram Dewan Trade Centre in the city on October 30. The 16-day event will conclude on November 15.
The participating nations include Afghanistan, Egypt, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal and Thailand.
Besides popular local brands, a number of international brands are participating in the expo. Government of India�s National Jute Board and Assam government�s BTC are also participants in the expo. There would be more to choose from a wide variety of IT companies that have confirmed their participation, a press release said.
A number of regional organisations representing different states of the country will also debut in the expo this year. Gadgets, clothing, jewellery, cosmetics, kitchen wares, footwear, home decors, toys, gaming products, two-wheelers, four-wheelers, electronics, medical advice and handicraft products would be put for display in the expo this year.
Afghanistan�s dry fruits, Sri Lanka�s famous pearls and jewellery, Thailand�s winter-wear, jewellery and handicraft products, Bangladesh�s melamine utensils and jamadani, tangail and tant sarees will be on display. Products from Pakistan will comprise various home decorative items crafted out from world famous onyx stones. Egypt�s decorative items and artefacts will be another attraction.
