1,500 join BJP at Barbhag

NALBARI, Oct 12 - Nearly 1,500 members and workers of AGP, AIUDF and ruling Congress joined the BJP in a meeting held at Morowa Utsav Pathar in Nalbari district here on Sunday. The meeting was organised by the Barbhag Mandal committee of the BJP on the initiative of party leader Kushal Talukdar. The meeting was presided over by Pradip Deka, president of the mandal committee. Other dignitaries who addressed the gathering include Ajoy Konwar, joint organising secretary of the BJP State unit, Ranjit Das, MLA of Sarbhog, Narayan Deka,vice-president of district BJP unit, among others.
