15 migrant labourers crushed under speeding truck in Gujarat; PM Modi announces ex-gratia

At least 15 migrant labourers from Rajasthan, including a child sleeping near a road were crushed to death and six others injured today morning by a speeding dumper truck in Gujarat's Surat, police said. PM Narendra Modi expressed grief and also announced a compensation of Rs 2 lakh for the families of the victims and Rs 50,000 for each injured labourer.
