13 Manipur players in Indian CWG squad

IMPHAL, July 23 � With the 20th Commonwealth Games commencing at Glasgow, UK, it has been a moment of pride for Manipur as 13 players from the State were included in the 224-member Indian contingent.

The Manipuri sportspersons in the Indian squad are: L Devendro Singh, L Sarita (Boxing); Sunita Yanglem (cycling); Kh Kothajit, K Chinglensana, Sushila Chanu Pukhrabam, Th Anuradha (Hockey); Jina Chongtham, Sunibala Huidrom, Kalpana Thoudam (Judo); Kh Sanjita Chanu, S Mirabai (Weightlifting); Ramananda Konggrailatpam (Diving); Dr S Santikumar (Team Manger Gymnastics) and N Kunjarani Devi (Team Coach weightlifting).
