GAURIPUR, Oct 7 - After detecting two dengue cases in the Dhubri town, the number of dengue cases has risen upto 12.
Meanwhile, a meeting held in the conference hall of the Deputy Commissioner�s office on October 4 last discussed the ways and means to check spread of the viral disease. It has been reported that 97,440 medicated mosquito nets have already been distributed free of cost and another 32,920 mosquito nets have been medicated. The report stated that two metric tons of DDT has already been spread to prevent spread of aedes mosquitoes in the affected areas.
The meeting directed the field officers and employees of the health department to check the fatal disease and asked them to organise awareness campaign.
