GOLAKGANJ, March 27 - On the last date for withdrawal of candidature yesterday, three Independent candidates, namely Zahanuddin, Uttam Prasad and Jesmin Sultana Hoque withdrew their candidature from 23 Dhubri Legislative Assembly Constituency.
With this, a total of 10 candidates, namely Abedur Zaman(Congress), Nazibul Omar(Independent), Dr Debomoy Sannal(Bharatiya Janata Party), Nazrul Hoque(All india United Democratic Front), Rasul Hoque(Independent), Baharul Sheikh(Independent), Mukta Begum(Independent), Ali Hussain(Independent), Ajhar Hussain(Socialist Unity Centre of India � Communist) and Sopiur Rahman(Communist Party of India (Marxist) respectively are in the fray from the constituency.
