KOKRAJHAR, March 23 - A total of ten candidates filed their nomination papers today in Kokrajhar district .
The candidates who filed their nominations from Gossaigaon constituency today are � Ashim Hasda (Cong), Pagu Murmu (Jharkhand Dasam Party), Somay Murmu (Voters Party International), Mithun Nath (Republican Party of India), Rajen Mushahary (Ind) and Sajal Sinha (Ind). Guneswar Basumatary (AIUDF), Nilima Brahma (Ind) and Aruna Brahma (Ind) have filed their nomination form Kokrajhar West constituency today.
On the other hand, Ajoy Kumar Narzary dissident BJP leader filed his nomination papers as an Independent candidate from the Kokrajhar East constituency.
Meanwhile, 11 candidates have filed nominations in Kokrajhar West constituency, 10 candidates in Gossaigaon constituency and 6 candidates filed nominations in Kokrajhar East constituency. It may be mentioned here that altogether 27 nominations have been filed in three Assembly constituencies of Kokrajhar district and the scrutiny of the nomination papers will be done on March 24. The last date for withdrawal of candidature is March 26.
