JORHAT, Nov 4 - Police on Sunday arrested a youth identified as Dipankar Goswami (20) of Majuli village under Lahdoigarh police outpost here on charges of his involvement in putting up posters in support of ULFA-I inside the Jorhat Stadium on Friday night.
A police source said two other youths, one from Dhemaji and Dibrugarh districts, too have been picked up for interrogation in connection with the case.
The source informed that on Friday night police found two posters printed in Assamese language supporting ULFA-I, which were pasted inside the stadium compound reportedly in the extremist organisation�s letterhead.
The posters which appealed to the youth to join the extremist outfit were later removed by police.
Investigationan was on in the case.
