Staff Reporter
GUWAHATI, Jan 31 – In another step towards meeting modern-day readers’ needs, the premier and oldest daily in the North-east, The Assam Tribune, is launching its e-paper version from tomorrow. The present online edition of the newspaper will continue to be available, albeit in a somewhat different format.

Making a humble beginning on January 1, 1999, the online edition of the newspaper has made giant strides to record on an average over 1.50 lakh hits per day. While initially the readers of its online edition mainly comprised people in the US, UK and UAE, the present majorly enhanced readership base includes mainly those in India.

In keeping with today’s ‘breaking news’ environment, from now on the online edition of the paper will be updated at regular intervals to keep readers abreast of latest developments.

The Assam Tribune e-paper version will be available at http://epaper.assamtribune.com. People can now view the paper online the way it appears in print. Interested readers may also subscribe to the digital version of the popular newspaper to download a copy of it in PDF format.
